Batch Customer Invoices
Use the Invoices button to log any invoices you have produced manually and sent to your customers. No printed document is produced. The amount of detail you enter per invoice is up to you, but for maximum control we recommend you enter every transaction line of every invoice. You can, however, simply enter one line per invoice if you wish.
When you enter several invoice items from the same invoice, we recommend you give each one the same account code, date and reference, as these will then be grouped together and listed as the items that make up a single invoice. For example, when you examine a customerÆs activity a single invoice will be shown as one line, however, if you double-click on this line, the individual items that make up that invoice total will then be shown. Blank references are not grouped.
Note: (Financial Controller and Accountant Plus users only) You should only log invoices here that have not been generated by the Invoicing option in Sage Line 50, otherwise the items will be invoiced twice in your customer records.
